Construction of WIllingboro, NJ Mosque

The construction of the Willingboro Mosque began in 2000. (The Ahmadiyya Gazette, USA, Vol. 72, Nos. 10-12 and Vol. 73, Nos. 1-9, October 2020-September 2021, pp. 474-77).

A building was bought in Hawthorn, CA and converted to a mosque, Bait-us-Salam. Later in the year 2000, a building adjacent to the old building was also procured. (The Ahmadiyya Gazette, USA, Vol. 72, Nos. 10-12 and Vol. 73, Nos. 1-9, October 2020-September 2021, p. 463).

Oshkosh chapter established.

International Messiah 2000 Interfaith Conference

Jama’at Ahmadiyya USA held the International Messiah 2000 Interfaith Conference at Carthage College, Kenosha, Wisconsin. This is located near Ahmadiyya Mission in Zion, IL. The conference was held to commemorate the killing of Dr. Alexander Dowie as a result of a prayer duel with the Promised Messiah (‘Alaih-is-Salam) in the year 1907. House Purchase for Mosque

In 2001, a house was purchased for a mosque for Atlanta GA chapter at 6113 Oakbrook Parkway, Norcross, GA 30093. Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih named it “Bait-ul-Baqi.” (The Ahmadiyya Gazette USA, Vol. 72, Nos. 10-12 and Vol. 73, Nos. 1-9, October 2020-September 2021, p. 346).

Construction of Dallas Mosque

The Fifty-Fourth Annual Ahmadiyya Convention USA was held at Bait-ur-Rahman, Silver Spring, Maryland. Dr. Ahsanullah Zafar presided over the first session of the convention. Sahibzadah Mirza Muzaffar Ahmad Passes

Sahibzadah Mirza Muzaffar Ahmad, Amir USA, died after protracted illness.

The Washington Post in its publication dated July 28, 2002 gave a short summary of his activities and services to Jama’at Ahmadiyya. Different organizations of Jama’at Ahmadiyya passed resolutions on his death. (The Ahmadiyya Gazette USA, July-August 2002, p. 7).

17th West Coast Jalsa Salana

The 17th West Coast Jalsa Salana (convention) was held at Bait-ul-Hameed Mosque in Chino, California. The convention was attended by 757 which included members from eleven chapters from the West Coast plus from other chapters of the USA and from overseas Pakistan, Bangladesh, Abu Dhabi, England, Canada and Guatemala. Khalifatul-Masih IV Praises US Jamaat

Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih IV praised Jama’at Ahmadiyya USA while addressing Majlis-i-Shura 2003: “I would like to inform you that I am very happy with the progress of the United States of America. I have especially noticed how M.M. Ahmad has ably steered you through difficult times to ever rising heights of achievements.”

Khalifatul-Masih IV Passes Away

Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, Khalifatul-Masih IV (may Allah shower His mercy on him) passed away on 19 April 2003 in London after a heart attack. He was seventy-four years old. He had been residing in London since April 1984. His funeral prayer was led in London by Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, newly elected fifth Khalifa of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community on 23 April 2003.
