Construction of WIllingboro, NJ Mosque

The construction of the Willingboro Mosque began in 2000. (The Ahmadiyya Gazette, USA, Vol. 72, Nos. 10-12 and Vol. 73, Nos. 1-9, October 2020-September 2021, pp. 474-77).

A building was bought in Hawthorn, CA and converted to a mosque, Bait-us-Salam. Later in the year 2000, a building adjacent to the old building was also procured. (The Ahmadiyya Gazette, USA, Vol. 72, Nos. 10-12 and Vol. 73, Nos. 1-9, October 2020-September 2021, p. 463).

Oshkosh chapter established.

International Messiah 2000 Interfaith Conference

Jama’at Ahmadiyya USA held the International Messiah 2000 Interfaith Conference at Carthage College, Kenosha, Wisconsin. This is located near Ahmadiyya Mission in Zion, IL. The conference was held to commemorate the killing of Dr. Alexander Dowie as a result of a prayer duel with the Promised Messiah (‘Alaih-is-Salam) in the year 1907. Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, Khalifatul-Masih IV (may Allah shower His mercy on him) passed away on 19 April 2003 in London after a heart attack. He was seventy-four years old. He had been residing in London since April 1984. His funeral prayer was led in London by Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, newly elected fifth Khalifa of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community on 23 April 2003.
