Khalifatul Masih V Elected
On 22 April 2003, Khilafat Electoral Committee established by Hazrat Muslih Mau‘ud (may Allah be pleased with him), held with Chaudhri Hameedullah, the then Wakil-e-A‘la, Tahrik Jadid presiding over the election in London. Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad was elected as the fifth Khalifa of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. According to the tradition, he first took the Bai’at (Oath of Allegiance) and then led the funeral prayer of Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad. About 40,000 people participated in the funeral prayers. Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih IV was laid to rest at Mubarak Mosque, Tilford, England.

Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya 25th Ijtema
Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya held its 25th annual Ijtima. 787 participated. Members from as far as California, Washington, Texas, Michigan, Florida and Massachusetts came to participate.
Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih V (may Allah support him with His mighty help) sent a message for Ijtima 2003 of Khuddam and Atfal, USA. Khalifatul-Masih V Message to USA
Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih V (may Allah support him with His mighty help) sent a message for USA Jama’at’s Tahrik Jadid Issue of the Ahmadiyya Gazette.
Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih V said: “I pray that Allah enables us to fulfill our obligations towards Tahrik Jadid and that we bring about reformation within ourselves, so that we can create a true new world order in which there is respect for justice and all human beings begin to live in peace and so that Allah welcomes us all saying that your battle has come to an end, you are now reconciled and peace with Me. Synagogue Purchased in Brooklyn, NY
A Synagogue was purchased in the Brooklyn, NY area. Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih V (may Allah support him with His mighty help) named it as “Bait-ut-Tahir.” The mosque can house 150 people. House Purchased in Miami, FL
The house purchased in Miami, Florida, in 1993 was later sold due to zoning restrictions on 21 September 2001. A church building was acquired on 28 September 2004 and was converted to a mosque. Khalifatul-Masih V Chairs Final Session
Gold medals and certificates were distributed among the brilliant students for their remarkable educational achievements in the concluding session of the Annual Ahmadiyya Convention chaired by Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih V (may Allah support him with His mighty help) on 22 June. Certificates were also given to the members of auxiliaries, Ansar, Khuddam and Atfal who achieved first position in the Essay competition. ‘Alam-e-In‘ami was given to Majlis Oshkosh who was the best Majlis during 2006-07.
Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih V (may Allah support him with His mighty help) delivered the concluding address. He said: “True happiness would be achieved only if everyone pledges to improve spiritually, religiously, and morally as described by the Promised Messiah.” The attendance of Jalsa USA was 9,574 as compared to 4,500 in the last year. Khalifatul-Masih V Delivers an Address
An address was delivered by Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih V (may Allah support him with His mighty help) at Khilafat Centenary Celebration Reception/Dinner at Tysons’ Hilton, McLean, Virginia USA. Three hundred and two guests were invited. The guests included four representatives of the State Department.
The leading newspapers and journals published coverage of the tour. Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih V (may Allah support him with His mighty help) mentioned the true teaching of Islam with reference to terrorism. Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih V (may Allah support him with His mighty help) left Washington for Toronto, Canada on 24 June 2008 by Special “Khilafat Flight” of Continental Airline. “Khilafat Flight” was printed on the boarding cards. St. Louis Mosque Construction Begins
The construction of the St. Louis Mosque began in March 2007 with the laying of the foundation stone. The event was presided by Missionary Azhar Haneef, and chapter President, Brother Munir Ahmad.
